The integration of ethical and societal aspects in engineering education is of great importance, specifically for higher education institutions with the aim to prepare future engineers for a changing market and society. The new educational method of an eduLARP (educational Live Action Role Play) helps engineering students to experience the relevance and complexity of this topic and motivates them to integrate ethical and societal aspects in practice. The eduLARP is based on an emerging nanotechnology developed by a regional company and co-designed with nanotechnology students. Finally, the eduLARP is integrated in various technical master programs.
