Electronic Readout & Feedback System for Photonic Gas Sensing System

We are developing a system to measure gas concentrations using polymers that interact with a photonic circuit. These interactions affect the photonic signal, altering the output intensity. By monitoring these changes, we can measure and control the system’s output. A portion of the circuit has already been designed (by me), and the current focus is on completing the feedback loop system. This includes designing an electronic readout for the photonic system, incorporating a control loop based on heat current feedback and gas-responsive polymer input.

The project will be supervised by Mehmet Can, with additional expertise and support on related topics (such as physics and mechanics) provided by the Saxion Applied Nanotechnology group.
