We focus on the realization, production and assembly process for microsystem devices which are cost-effective, upscalable, robust, and ready to be used in different application areas.
In this line, different materials as well as methods for manufacturing of chip-based devices are being explored, such as 3D printing, laser engraving and micromachining. Next to that, assembly and integration processes for chip-based devices into larger systems are studied, allowing scale-up and improved reliability for such systems.
